HEFEI, Aug. 26, 2022 (Xinhua) -- Former mining subsidence areas in Gucheng Town of Yingshang County, east China's Anhui Province are now being transformed into floating photovoltaic (PV) power stations, which will improve both land utilization and power-generating efficiency.
So far, floating PV power stations with a total capacity of 130 megawatts have been built in Gucheng Town. The facilities are expected to generate about 136 million kilowatt-hours of electricity every year.
