BEIJING, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- China central defender Jiang Guangtai has completed his transfer from Guangzhou FC to Shanghai Port.
"Jiang Guangtai has officially joined Shanghai Port," the Shanghai Chinese Super League club said in a brief statement on Wednesday.
The press official of Shanghai Port Zhao Haochen confirmed Jiang's move through social media on the same day.
"Jiang Guangtai came to the club's training ground and trained with the team this afternoon," he wrote under a picture showing a grinning Jiang preparing to train.
"He will wear the number three jersey," Zhao wrote. ■
