BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Shandong Taishan's home game against Chengdu Rongcheng will be played behind closed doors, the Chinese Super League (CSL) announced on Friday.
In order to avoid unnecessary risk, fans will not be allowed to enter the stadium to watch the upcoming Sunday's match, said CSL in a statement.
Fans are also prohibited from gathering around the stadium.
Defending champions Shandong Taishan currently sit second in the CSL table, while the Chengdu side has climbed up to the sixth position with a run of five straight wins. ■
