BEIJING, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of several officials on Wednesday.
Sun Maoli was appointed vice minister of public security.
Wang Dongwei replaced Yu Weiping as vice minister of finance.
Zhu Chengqing replaced Lu Guihua as vice minister of water resources.
Xu Jia'ai was appointed vice minister of emergency management, while Pan Xianzhang was named vice director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. ■
