SHANGHAI, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Bayer, a leading company in life sciences, has announced that it will attend the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in November for the fifth consecutive year, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to the Chinese market.
The German company will bring products from three business divisions -- pharmaceuticals, consumer health, and crop science -- to the expo in Shanghai, it said.
Bayer has attended each session of the CIIE with an ever-expanding booth area. For the upcoming CIIE, Bayer said it looks to deepen its roots in China by leveraging the CIIE platform.
The company will further leverage the platform that advocates opening up and win-win cooperation. It will better share China's growth opportunities while helping the country realize a healthy China, rural revitalization, common prosperity, and carbon neutrality initiatives, said Zhou Xiaolan, president of Bayer Greater China.
The fifth CIIE will take place in Shanghai from Nov. 5 to 10. Global enterprises are keen to attend the event. More than 270 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry-leading enterprises have confirmed their participation in the expo. ■
