Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games leaves lasting legacy

BEIJING, July 31 (Xinhua) -- Beijing won the bid to host the 2022 Olympic Winter Games at the 128th IOC session in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 31, 2015, becoming the first city to host both summer and winter editions of the Olympic Games.

Seven years later, after staging a streamlined, safe and splendid Games, China is basking in the lasting legacy of the Games, which is highlighted by post-Games utilization of the venues and nationwide participation in winter sports.
