NEW YORK, July 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted 56 km NE of Calama, Chile at 18:58:57 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 98.97 km, was initially determined to be at 22.1733 degrees south latitude and 68.4714 degrees west longitude. ■
