NABLUS, July 25 (Xinhua) -- On the occasion of the Palestinian Traditional Dress and Heritage Day, Palestinian models display on Monday traditional dresses in a fashion show held in the West Bank city of Al-Bireh.
The show, organized by the Palestinian Traditional Dress Association, has attracted the presence of about 500 Palestinians from various places in the West Bank.
Traditional Palestinian embroidery is known for its rich colors and stylized motifs.
"The art of embroidery in Palestine, practices, skills, knowledge, and rituals" have been inscribed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2021 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
