NEVSEHIR, July 23 (Xinhua) -- As many as 25 special-shaped hot air balloons from 12 countries, including a dinosaur and a clown, as well as 15 classic air balloons, have filled the sky of Türkiye's Cappadocia.
The third International Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Festival kicked off in the Cappadocia region on Thursday and will last for four days.
The festival will host balloon shows at sunrise, local tasting and music events, concerts and DJ performances, movie screenings, parachuting and laser shows.
The Cappadocia region in central Anatolia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is famous for its fairy chimneys-cone-shaped rock formations. Some caves are now used as boutique hotels and houses carved into the rock.
