CAIRO, July 7 (Xinhua) -- On the eve of Eid al-Adha or the "Big Eid," which falls on Saturday, Muslims across the Middle East are going on a shopping spree for new clothes, sweets, decorations, and other essential things for the important festival.

Eid al-Adha, the biggest Muslim festival also known as the festival of sacrifice, is celebrated across the world on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic year.
