NEW YORK, July 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted 54 km NE of Bandar-e Lengeh, Iran at 21:32:07 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 26.9415 degrees north latitude and 55.2266 degrees east longitude. ■
