MEXICO CITY, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and the United States agreed Wednesday to work together to fight human trafficking and aid the families of the migrants found dead Monday inside an abandoned 18-wheeler in San Antonio in the U.S. state of Texas.

In a joint statement, the four sides agreed to establish an Immediate Action Group to "exchange information and work in a coordinated manner to dismantle human trafficking networks" operating in their countries.

The three Latin American countries agreed to "offer full cooperation and support" in the U.S.-led investigations through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to bring those responsible to justice, according to the statement.

Francisco Garduno, commissioner of Mexico's National Migration Institute, said Wednesday that 67 migrants were being transported in the trailer, including 27 Mexicans, 14 Hondurans, seven Guatemalans and two Salvadorans.
