China loses to Brazil in women's Volleyball Nations League

SOFIA, June 28 (Xinhua) -- China lost to Brazil 25-20, 25-23, 18-25, 21-25, 15-11 in a Pool 6 match of the women's Volleyball Nations League here on Tuesday, suffering its third straight defeat in the tournament.

China's Li Yingying had 20 points. Gabi Guimaraes contributed a game-high 27 points for Brazil, followed by Kisy Nascimento's 24.

This is China's first match in Sofia. The 2016 world champions will face Poland, the Dominican Republic and South Korea in the Bulgarian capital.
