BEIJING, June 28 (Xinhua) -- A 5.3-magnitude earthquake jolted the waters off southern Taiwan's Pingdong County at 9:43 p.m. Tuesday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 22.18 degrees north latitude and 120.11 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 20 km, the CENC said. ■
