BUDAPEST, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Italian Thomas Ceccon won the men's 100m backstroke title in a new world record time of 51.60 seconds at the 19th FINA World Championships here on Monday.
American Ryan Murphy (51.97) and Hunter Armstrong (51.98) took the silver and the bronze respectively. ■
