RIYADH, June 20 (Xinhua) -- The International Opera Festival of Saudi Arabia concluded on Monday here in the capital, with the grand finale of top opera stars.
Organized by the Saudi Ministry of Culture, the three-day festival was the first opera event in the kingdom.

It included a special opera exhibition showcasing arts, fashion, opera history, and musical instruments, which exhibition provided an opportunity to listen to classic and rare opera music and enjoy performances from top opera theaters.
The event also included educational workshops on opera singing and other topics.
Saudi Arabia aimed to open new cultural windows by hosting international cultural events. ■
