MOSCOW, June 8 (Xinhua) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday expressed common readiness to consistently strengthen bilateral relations, including through the implementation of joint economic and trade projects.
Putin and Raisi discussed bilateral cooperation and praised the current level of Russian-Iranian relations during a phone conversation, the Kremlin said in a press release.
Considering the situation regarding Iran's nuclear program, the presidents noted the need to continue diplomatic efforts to reach a final agreement that would ensure the preservation and full implementation of the Iran nuclear deal and the UN Security Council Resolution 2231. ■
