JERUSALEM, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Israeli women's national basketball team will visit Morocco on Monday, the Israeli Basketball Association (IBBA) said in a statement on Thursday.
The delegation, headed by IBBA Chairman Amiram Halevi, will visit Marrakesh, Rabat and Casablanca, where the Israeli women's team will hold an exhibition game against the Moroccan national team on Wednesday, it added.
The main purpose of the visit is to sign a cooperation agreement between the parties, which will be the first one signed between the IBBA and an Arab basketball governing body, it added. The agreement will include the creation of professional, social and educational ties. ■
