BEIRUT, June 5 (Xinhua) -- The FIFA World Cup trophy arrived in Lebanon on Sunday during the trophy's global journey, ahead of the opening of Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup in November.
The World Cup trophy, accompanied by Brazilian football legend Juliano Belletti, was welcomed by Lebanese Minister of Youth and Sports George Kallas, Lebanon's Football Association President Hachem Haidar, and Lebanese football stars at Beirut Airport.
"I know the tour will continue to excite and engage with fans across the region," Belletti said.
