ISLAMABAD, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan reports 36 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said on Friday.
The tally of infected people increased to 1,530,556 after adding the new cases, according to data released by the ministry.
A total of 30,379 people died from COVID-19 in Pakistan, with no more death on Thursday, according to the ministry's statistics.
On Thursday, 14,635 tests for COVID-19 were conducted in Pakistan, while the positivity rate stood at 0.25 percent.
Currently, there are 76 active cases who are in critical condition in the South Asian country. ■
