The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) on Thursday inaugurated its Chinese-built CBK Pension Towers, which are located at the heart of the country's capital city of Nairobi.
The modern iconic architecture consists of twin towers that reach a height of about 110 meters.
The two inter-connected office blocks have 27 stories and 24 stories above the ground respectively.
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta said at the inaugurating ceremony that the building's design is bold and distinct.
Dominic Mwenja, Chairman Board of Trustees of the CBK Pension Fund, thanked the Chinese contractor for completing the project on time amid challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
