LOS ANGELES, May 29 (Xinhua) -- The United States is facing a severe nationwide shortage of baby formula.
COVID-19-induced supply chain disruptions have already led to low stock levels, but the problem was worsened after the Food and Drug Administration issued a wide-ranging recall of Abbott's infant formula. An Abbott Nutrition facility was closed in February after several babies fell ill with bacterial infections and two died.
The infant formula shortage in the U.S. has panicked parents and caregivers across the country. Let's hear what a parent from Los Angeles says.
