China's "hometown of acrobatics" eyes development with Grand Canal parks

WUQIAO, May 28 (Xinhua) -- Wuqiao County in Cangzhou, north China's Hebei Province is dubbed China's "hometown of acrobatics." The local government is focusing on tourism industries that feature the local acrobatics culture. In recent years, many parks have been built along the 34.8 kilometers long Grand Canal, an important logistics waterway in Chinese history, to help improve the environment and boost tourism.
