The second branch of CREC Indonesia Jakarta-Bandung HSR Project Team, which undertook the task of erecting box girders in the direction of Bandung, has overcome the outbreak of the epidemic, the complex surrounding environment, and the safety risks of high-altitude operations.
At present, the project team is actively promoting the box girder erection work in the direction of Jakarta according to the overall arrangement of the construction.
With a design speed of 350 km per hour, the railway built with Chinese technology will cut the journey between Jakarta and Bandung, capital of West Java province, from more than three hours to around 40 minutes. ■
