CAIRO, May 23 (Xinhua) -- From Egypt to Israel, countries in the Middle East have ushered in the wheat harvest season from mid-May.
This year's bumper harvest is particularly gratifying, since the Middle East region, which heavily relies on wheat imports from Russia and Ukraine, has been living under the clouds of a potential food crisis.
