The Qilian Mountains span northwest China's Gansu and Qinghai Provinces and are an important ecological source in western China. In recent years, the ecological environment of Qilian Mountains has been improved through various measures such as strengthening environmental protection, adding ecological protection officers, and using ecological monitoring technology. Rare animals such as snow leopards, white-lipped deer and blue sheep frequently appear in the Qilian Mountains, and large spruce and other plants grow along the banks of the Qilian Mountains.
