BELGRADE, May 19 (Xinhua) -- Turkish side Anadolu Efes edged Greece's Olympiacos 77-74 in the first semifinal match of the basketball EuroLeague in Belgrade on Thursday thanks to a spectacular three-pointer by Vasilije Micic in the last second.

The early lead of Olympiacos in the Final Four match at the Belgrade Arena was interrupted by the outstanding performance of Shane Larkin, who scored 16 points and made six assists by half-time.

Anadolu Efes built a lead in the third quarter thanks to points from Elijah, but Tyler Dorsey replied with 10 points of his own to keep the Greek team in the game.

The two teams were even at 74-74 just 20 seconds before the final whistle, when Micic received the ball and scored a three-pointer to clinch the win.

"I just kept on believing that this shot could get inside the hoop. In our team there is no jealousy over who will execute decisive shots," Micic commented after the match.

Micic finished the match with 15 points and nine assists, while Larkin added another 21 points and seven assists. Shaquille Mckissic scored 12 points - the most for the losing team, while Hassan Martin added another 11 points.

In the second semifinal match here this evening, Barcelona meets Real Madrid. The final match of the EuroLeague will take place on Saturday, May 21 at the Belgrade Arena.

The Final Four tournament was scheduled to be held in Berlin, but was awarded to Belgrade instead because of Germany's COVID-19 restrictions.
