It has intensified epidemic prevention and control measures in Chaoyang District, where most infection cases were found.
Beijing has ordered employers in Chaoyang and other areas where public transportation has been suspended to arrange for their employees to work from home.
Transit frequency of buses is lowered while the buses or subways in operation pass through certain stops without stopping.
Indoor entertainment facilities and commercial complexes in Chaoyang will continue to suspend business.
Commodity markets and other businesses that guarantee people's livelihoods remain open, and restaurants can continue to take online orders in the district.
