CHANGSHA, May 3 (Xinhua) -- A ninth survivor has been pulled from the rubble 88 hours after a self-built residential building collapsed in central China's Hunan Province.

The woman, rescued at around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, has been sent to hospital.

Rescuers said the woman repeatedly knocked at objects to send out signals, and they found her exact location by using life detection instruments and manual search.
