NOORDWIJK, the Netherlands, April 23 (Xinhua) -- The Flower Parade of the Bollenstreek in Noordwijk is the largest spring festival in the Netherlands. This colorful, fragrant spectacle is celebrated by more than a million visitors each year.
Featuring colorful floats and luxury vehicles decorated with flowers, the parade started on Saturday morning and covered a 42-km route. The upbeat music of the brass bands and the entertainment on and around the floats added to the festive spirit of the event, which drew crowds from home and abroad.
