MOSCOW, April 21 (Xinhua) -- One person has died and another 20 have been injured as a result of a fire at a Russian Defense Ministry research facility in the Tver region of western Russia, local media reported Thursday.
"There was a fire in the building of the military institute. Units are working at the site," local media reported, citing a source in emergency services.
The building belongs to the Central Research and Development Institute of Aerospace Defense Troops, local media said.
The total area under the impact of the fire is 1,000 square meters, and the cause of the fire is currently being investigated. ■
