TOKYO, April 20 (Xinhua) -- The East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) E-1 Championship Finals, originally scheduled to be held in China, will take place in Japan from July 19 to 27, 2022.
The EAFF announced on its official website that China withdrew its hosting right due to the recent situation of the COVID-19 pandemic across the country.
Since DPR Korea has announced to pull out of the event, EAFF confirmed the following competing teams:
Men
China, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong of China
Women
China, Japan, South Korea and Chinese Taipei
