HAIKOU, April 18 (Xinhua) -- The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) will hold its annual conference from April 20 to 22 in Boao, a coastal town in China's southernmost province of Hainan.
This year's conference will focus on six areas, including the COVID-19 pandemic, green recovery and sustainable development as well as the progress of Asian regional cooperation.
In 2001, the town, with its beautiful sea and mountain views, great air quality and quiet countryside, was chosen to host the conferences of the BFA, a non-governmental and non-profit international organization founded to promote regional economic development and cooperation.
