SHANGHAI, April 16 (Xinhua) -- Senegalese forward Cherif Ndiaye has completed his transfer from Turkish club Goztepe to Shanghai Port, the Chinese Super League (CSL) club announced on Saturday.
"Shanghai Port club has reached an agreement with Turkish Super Lig club Goztepe on the transfer of Cherif Ndiaye," Shanghai Port said in a statement.
The amount of Ndiaye's transfer fee was not revealed.
Ndiaye, 26, scored 24 goals in 77 games for Goztepe since joining the club in 2020.
The kickoff date of the 2022 CSL campaign remains undecided. ■
