SHANGHAI, April 16 (Xinhua) -- China's economic hub Shanghai reported 3,590 confirmed locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and 19,923 local asymptomatic carriers on Friday, the municipal health commission said Saturday.
Thirteen patients with severe COVID-19 symptoms are receiving treatment in Shanghai, according to a press conference held on Saturday.
Of them, 12 are between 70 and 93 years old and had existing serious underlying health issues. The other patient is 33. ■
