LOS ANGELES, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Thousands of people joined an annual five-km Bubble Run in Pomona in southern California on Saturday.
The Bubble Run is a fun course with foam bogs at each kilometer that cover runners in colorful bubbles and foam.
Clad in white T-shirts, adults, kids and even babies in strollers took part in the event.
Lauren Bennett, director of the event, told Xinhua the Bubble Run aims to bring fun to friends, families and anyone who would like to play in the bubbles like kids.
"We brought back the event after the pandemic because after two years that people (are) not doing anything, it is more important than ever that people can go outside and be healthy, and get together with friends and families," Bennett told Xinhua. ■
