SHANGHAI, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Frontline workers from all walks of life in China's business hub Shanghai have devoted themselves to the tough fight against the COVID-19 resurgence.
As of Wednesday, more than 38,000 medics from 15 provincial-level regions had rushed to the megacity to help with the fight.

Police are also using drones to patrol key areas and deliver medicine to local residents.
Shanghai reported about 820 new locally-transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases and nearly 20,400 new asymptomatic carriers on Thursday.
