YAN'AN, March 21 (Xinhua) -- A wild leopard family has been captured by an infrared camera in a nature reserve in Yan'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
The leopard family includes three cubs and their mother in Ziwuling nature reserve. Video clips have captured footage of the mother feeding cubs breast milk and roe deer.
According to Feng Limin, a leopard expert of a Beijing Normal University tiger and leopard research team, these cubs are about three months old and are in the transition from drinking breast milk to eating meat.
"Wild leopards are believed to have abundant food sources and enjoy good living conditions in the reserve thanks to the improving environment," Feng said.
