TUNIS, March 13 (Xinhua) -- Tunisians went out dressed to the nines on Sunday in downtown Tunis to celebrate the upcoming National Day of Tunisian Traditional Costumes this week.
On the costume day, which falls on March 16 each year, sees men wearing traditional holiday attires such as jebaa, an embroidered sleeveless tunic meticulously adorned with metal-wrapped thread and sequins, or a colorful robe and hat, while women wear a piece of laced and felt dress with bright colors that may represent their hometown.
