NANCHANG, March 6, 2022 (Xinhua) -- Gu Daopeng is a 47-year-old farmer who has been farming for 30 years. He has developed from a farmer who cultivated a few acres of farmland to the head of an agricultural cooperative with dozens of agricultural machineries and more than 2,700 mu (about 180 hectares) of land. He is delighted that his son Gu Bingfa came back to their hometown and is engaged in farming with him after graduating from university this year.
Nowadays, the level of agricultural automation has become higher. Gu Daopeng not only set up professional cooperatives, but also built leisure farms and developed agricultural sightseeing programs which require young people with technological skills like Gu Bingfa.
Besides helping his father in spring ploughing, Gu Bingfa also uses his professional knowledge of environmental design to create various projects on leisure farms.
