MANILA, March 4 (Xinhua) -- The China-funded Binondo-Intramuros Bridge, a 734-meter-long steel bowstring arch bridge that connects the Intramuros side and Binondo side over the Pasig River, has been under construction in Philippine capital Manila City.
The bridge is expected to be built this year and is estimated to serve over 30,000 motorists everyday upon its completion, substantially relieving the traffic congestion along the river.
