NANNING, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region reported nine new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases on Friday, all in the city of Fangchenggang, the regional health commission said Saturday.
By Friday, Guangxi had logged 207 locally-transmitted confirmed cases in the latest resurgence -- 190 in the city of Baise, one in the regional capital Nanning and 16 in the port city of Fangchenggang.
A total of 3,558 close contacts are currently under medical observation, with 73 added on Friday.
On Friday, Guangxi also reported seven imported confirmed cases and 11 imported asymptomatic cases. ■
