XINGTAI, Feb. 26(Xinhua) -- Jiao Junying, 46, is a village doctor in Nanjie Village Clinic. When he was a child, Jiao was afflicted with poliomyelitis, which disabled his lower limb. However, he determined to become a doctor because he wanted to heal sick people.

In 2015, Jiao Junying became a family doctor in Nanjie Village. Despite being in a wheelchair for most of the time, he takes on the responsibility to treat patients. He gives physical examinations to the elderly, conducts follow-up visits to those with chronic diseases, and has established health records for the villagers.
