BEIJING, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- SF Airlines, China's largest air-cargo carrier, will see the size of its all-cargo freighter fleet exceed 70 aircraft in 2022, the airline said on Monday.

The data was released as the airline welcomed a B767-300BCF wide-body all-cargo freighter to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport on Monday. It is the 69th member of the SF Airlines fleet, and the first new member to join the fleet this year, said SF Airlines.

Recently, the airline officially established its headquarters for western China at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, with a view to establishing a regional hub. It will provide the airline with its fourth regional hub following those in Beijing, Hangzhou and Shenzhen.

The steady expansion of aircraft capacity will create a good foundation for expanding the route network and building an aviation hub in the future, said SF Airlines.

Headquartered in Shenzhen, SF Airlines is the aviation branch of China's delivery giant SF Express. The airline is committed to providing safe, efficient and stable air-logistics services, it said.

China's international air cargo-transport capacity has been sustained by the effective green-channel measures adopted during the pandemic. The sector has contributed to the transport of vital supplies and the stability of global supply chains.
