BEIJING, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Hanyu Yuzuru, the two-time Olympic champion who is hailed as "Ice Prince", took to the ice to the sound of Haru Yo Koi during the figure skating gala.
Despite his fourth place in the men's singles at Beijing 2022, Hanyu inspires passionate devotion in fans all over the world. Inside the Capital Indoor Stadium where the gala took place, the crowd went wild for him.
"As Hanyu Yuzuru, I'm going to cherish figure skating which Hanyu Yuzuru loves and continue to strive to master the sport," he said during a press conference on Feb. 14.
He is a pure artist on ice.
