LONDON, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Second-half goals from Diogo Jota, Takumi Minamoto and Harvey Elliot gave Liverpool a comfortable 3-1 win at home to Cardiff City in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
The goals came in a 23-minute spell between the 53rd and 76th minute of the game, with Elliot's goal coming on his return from injury, which along with the debut of January signing Luis Diaz was further good news for Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp.
FA Cup holders, Leicester City became the second top-flight victims of Nottingham Forrest, who knocked Arsenal out of the last round.
Two goals from Philip Zinkernagel and Brennan Johnson, separated by just 24 seconds in the 23rd and 24th minute, set Forrest on their way to an impressive 4-1 win.
Joe Worral added a third for the Championship side in the 32nd minute before Kelechi Iheanacho pulled one back for Leicester just before halftime, that hope didn't last for long as Djed Spence netted Nottingham Forrest's fourth in the 61st minute.
Boreham Wood from the Conference (fifth tier) produced the biggest shock of the round in Sunday's last game when they won 1-0 away to second division Bournemouth. The underdogs had just 18 percent of the ball and had just one shot all game, which saw Mark Ricketts score the 38th-minute winner.
The draw for the fifth round of the competition was made on Sunday lunchtime, with Liverpool rewarded with a home tie against Norwich City, who beat Wolverhampton on Saturday.
Championship side (second division) Middlesbrough will play at home to Tottenham after knocking Manchester United out of the tournament, while Boreham Wood will visit Everton. ■
