BEIJING, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- With Chinese knot-shaped decorations lighting up the streets and New Year couplets adorning the doors of people's homes, China is getting in the spirit of Lunar New Year, the Year of the Tiger.
Lunar New Year celebrations are taking place around the world, from Beijing to New York City.
The celebrations see people feast with relatives, watch parades, attend temple fairs and concerts and pray for good fortune.
