CHONGLI, Zhangjiakou, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Zoi Sadowski-Synnott of New Zealand won the gold medal in the women's snowboard slopestyle at the Beijing Olympic Winter Games here on Sunday.
The FIS first seed collected 92.88 points on her third run at the Genting Snow Park H & S Stadium, to finish ahead of silver medalist Julia Marino of the United States, who scored 87.68.
Australia's Tess Coady won the bronze medal by 84.15 points.
This is the first Olympic gold medal for world champion Sadowski-Synnott, who also finished first in Saturday's qualification. ■
