BOGOTA Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Two-time grand slam doubles champions Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah have been named in Colombia's squad for a Davis Cup qualifier against the United States, the South American country's tennis federation said on Friday.
Captain Alejandro Falla also called up Daniel Galan, Nicolas Mejia, Robert Farah and Nicolas Barrientos for the March 4-5 tie in Reno, Nevada.
The qualifier will be played on an indoor hard court at the Reno Events Center.
The winning team will advance to the finals, to be played in five host cities in November and December.
The United States have won 32 Davis Cup titles, the last of which came in 2007, while Colombia are aiming to win the world's largest annual international team sport competition for a the first time. ■
