"Since the coronavirus pandemic is spreading in the world and (for us) it is difficult to visit China, we would like to send our feelings and raise the Chinese flag on the largest display screen in Iraq and other advertising screens in Baghdad," al-Rubaie said.
"We are trying to convey the message from the Iraqi people, which carries peace and love, to the Chinese people, and we share their joys on this day," he added. ■
